Enterprise Clubs

Enterprise Clubs

TARGET: 50 additional pledges from local businesses

Enterprise Clubs are voluntary clubs set up and run by local businesses and partnerships for people who are out of work and are considering starting their own business or becoming self-employed.

They come in all shapes and sizes, but they essentially provide a place where unemployed people who are thinking about setting up their own business can meet, share ideas and receive expert advice from local business people. No Enterprise Club will be the same as they should reflect the needs of the members and their community but amongst the services they might offer are:

  • The opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and self-employed people
  • Financial, legal market and business advice
  • Office services (including internet access);
  • Advice about benefits and in-work support

Project 365 will support the development of Enterprise Clubs through the engagement of local businesses, encouraging them to pledge direct support across a range of areas. Some ideas can be found in the pledge form which can be accessed by pressing the ‘Make a Pledge’ button below:
