NCCESB & DNCC: Business And Employment Chiefs Welcome Drop In Unemployment
NCCESB and Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce's reaction to the Labour Market Stats released 16th May 2012.
Nottinghamshire Work Clubs will operate on an entirely voluntary basis and will have no ongoing funding.
Free accommodation and access to IT equipment is being offered through local libraries (where available) however work clubs will incur some costs and will rely on local sponsorship to keep them running.
We are looking for two types of pledges:
Professional Support
This support could be in terms of help with CV writing, interview techniques, completing application forms etc.
Practical Support
This support could be in the form of refreshments for meetings, sponsorship of a mobile phone to be used in sessions, provision of a venue if spacce in a library is not available etc.
The needs of all Work Clubs will vary however, for most there will be a basic set of requirements, some of which will need to be repeated on a fairly regular basis as the group evolves and membership changes.
