NCCESB's Nottinghamshire Work Programme Event

Monday October 18th 2010 saw the Nottinghamshire: City & County Employment and Skills Board hold the 'Nottinghamshire: From Welfare to Work Event'.

This event provided the opportunity to cement a strong understanding of the policy and potential behind the Work Programme and achieve a common interest for Nottinghamshire.

Key themes, which highlight local good practice across a range of existing service areas, were presented including initiatives that addressed business engagement, health, pre-employment support, skills and complimentary services. The event also enabled potential prime providers, local providers, expert partners and other stakeholders to share good practice, network and consider cost effective joint working opportunities.
