National Office of Statistics: LEP Profiles and Data Sheets

28 April 2011
The NOS have produced LEP profiles for use by LEPs.

The Local Enterprise Partnership Profiles aim to help Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) use official statistics to better understand the economic, social and environmental picture for the local authority areas covered by LEPs.

Since the first LEPs were announced in October 2010, a number of new LEPs have subsequently been formed. The current LEP profiles reflect the 31 LEPs which were in existence as at 23 March 2011. Please note that on this date, not all areas of England were covered by a LEP.

The LEP profiles are based on a slimmed down version of the Local Authority Profiles. It is hoped to further develop and enhance these profiles over time.
