Work Academies

Work Academies

TARGET: Produce 15 case studies to be used to promote the benefits to business in engaging with pre-employment training pathways that can lead unemployed people back into work.

Sector-based work academies have been designed to help those ready for work and receiving benefits into secure employment. They are designed to meet employers immediate and future recruitment needs as well as to recruit a workforce with the right skills to sustain and grow your business.

A sector-based work academy can last up to six weeks and has three key components:

  • Pre-employment training – relevant to the needs of the employers and the sector
  • A work experience placement – of great benefit to both the individual and the employer
  • A guaranteed job interview

They offer a flexible approach and can be adapted to meet the needs of your business. Project 365 will promote the benefits of these academies through the production of case studies.
